Could we gather at your place?
Odd Pencils brings people together in Karuizawa to draw, talk, and meet someone new. We’re looking for cafés, shops, and other local spaces for our monthly gatherings.

You make room.
A table, a few chairs, or a corner where people can sit and draw. We’ll agree the group size and timing with you, around how your business runs.
We’d love to discuss a space in exchange for attendees supporting your business. Any space fee or minimum order would be agreed before we announce the session.
We bring the gathering.
Odd Pencils organises the drawing session and lets people know when and where to join. We draw in short, 5–15 minute rounds, with time to chat.
People can bring their own materials. We also have drawing tools for them to try.
Good company.
Support for your business.
We ask everyone who attends to buy food or drinks from the host business. The drawing session itself is free.
We’ll tag your Instagram account or link to your website when we share the session, so people can find your place.
For spaces that don’t serve food or drinks, we’ll discuss a suitable way for attendees to support you.
